When the Pipsqueak turned 6 months old, we had some professional photos taken. Some of those shots turned out really good, so I thought I'd share some here:

A few more photos ...
Well, here are a few more photos I had been meaning to get posted. These are from various dates - Pipsqueak's been keeping us busy!
This one is from the St. Patty's day parade on Magazine Street. He looks cranky, but that's only because he was blocked all day from stealing my beer.
This one is from the little guy's first Easter -
And, after having a terrific time, the Pipsqueak sleeps. Around this time in March, he was sleeping peacefully through the night.

Lombardi Gras
So, Pip was around for an unprecedented spring in NOLA this year, with the Saints winning Super Bowl XLIV, and mardi gras following only a week later. In fact, the whole region declared the season "Lombardi Gras," and the parading and celebration continued unabated for quite some time.
Of course the Pipsqueak enjoyed every minute of it, and we're glad he was around to inspire the Saints to succeed. By this time next year, we imagine the parade throws will be WAY more important to him at mardi gras, but we're ready. These parading professionals are prepared to show the little man the ropes of living in this City!
More photos of St. Patrick's Day parade and general springtime fun to follow!

Not-so-great Firsts
Sorry for the lack of updating recently: the Pipsqueak is suffering what we believe is his first cold. Nothing photo-worthy, but things have been slow around here. More to come when he's feeling better.

Some new photos
So - no big photo sessions, or anything of great importance recently, but a few more candid snapshots of the Pipsqueak we have taken recently:
The first one here is the little man in one of his overall outfits. It looks great, but seriously ... could we add one layer i need to fight through when he needs to be changed?
Also: he has recently taken a liking to his pacifier. We debated whether he was a little young for the pacifier, but once we found how well it can quiet him when he is in the mood for it (and he is not always in the mood for it ...), all debate ended. Quietly. Veeeerrrrry quietly.
Here, Pip decides to fall asleep in the most ridiculous position ... I suppose that - just like Dad - he can fall asleep in virtually any situation!
That's right - he's sound asleep in this picture.

Testing, Testing ... 1, 2, 3
So - as promised, I will try to upload video of the Pipsqueak here in an effort to try to keep all relevant videos in one place! Here is the first of what will likely be many (although once he can move and speak, instead of merely act like a very loud loaf of bread, I imagine the frequency of videos will increase exponentially!).
