A Few More Christmas Photos

Just a quick update, adding a (very) few new photos of Pip's first Christmas!

Finally, despite how he looks in this photo, the Pipsqueak is not (to my knowledge) hungover.

New Pictures

A few quick additional pictures of the Pipsqueak taken in December. He was too small to get photos with Santa this year, so his pics were taken here. Based on the gossip around the house, these will likely not be the last Christmas pictures this year!

Some new photos

So - no big photo sessions, or anything of great importance recently, but a few more candid snapshots of the Pipsqueak we have taken recently:

The first one here is the little man in one of his overall outfits. It looks great, but seriously ... could we add one layer i need to fight through when he needs to be changed?

Also: he has recently taken a liking to his pacifier. We debated whether he was a little young for the pacifier, but once we found how well it can quiet him when he is in the mood for it (and he is not always in the mood for it ...), all debate ended. Quietly. Veeeerrrrry quietly.

Here, Pip decides to fall asleep in the most ridiculous position ... I suppose that - just like Dad - he can fall asleep in virtually any situation!

That's right - he's sound asleep in this picture.

Testing, Testing ... 1, 2, 3

So - as promised, I will try to upload video of the Pipsqueak here in an effort to try to keep all relevant videos in one place! Here is the first of what will likely be many (although once he can move and speak, instead of merely act like a very loud loaf of bread, I imagine the frequency of videos will increase exponentially!).

Getting started ...

If you've found this blog, odds are that you know me or my wife. We live in New Orleans (my tenure here is at more than 15 years as of the writing of this entry), but neither of our families live in NOLA. What is more, we just had a child: a beautiful boy nicknamed the Pipsqueak (or just "Pip"). We want his family to be a big and important part of his life, even as he grows into a boy in this unique, quirky, offbeat city. In order to keep our families and friends abreast of everything going on with the Pipsqueak, I started this site in order to deposit some photos, videos, and other stories/quotes/items of interest.

So - if you're in the right place, hopefully you'll find pictures, video clips, or other information to tide you over until we visit with you again! I'll update as often as I can, or as often as Pip gives us fun, funny or first-time events to post. Thanks everyone!

-Dad

P.S. : Geaux Saints!!!
